A few years after the Great Victory Sterlitamak started the global construction of a plant for the production of synthetic rubber. During the construction, installation and commissioning of equipment born group, linked by friendship and common cause. Refinery was an All-Union, so Sterlitamak move out young people from all over the country. Birthday of the plant can be considered as 12 April 1960. On this day, the company got the first roll of synthetic rubber, and began production of catalysts K-5, K-12, K-16. After three years, first in the Soviet Union has become operational pilot production of isoprene and isoprene rubber SKI-3. In 1966 it became an independent company - experimental industrial petrochemical plant.

Since then, throughout its history, Synthez-Kauchuk plant in Sterlitamak developing dynamically growing and gaining momentum production.

Privatization occurred in 90 years during the reform of the entire economy of the country. Despite enormous difficulties, strong team working staff of the plant, good technical condition and the efforts of the production allowed to maintain efficiency of the plant. In 1993 CJSC "Kauchuk" will issue a third of rubber produced in Russia, increased their exports.

2000"s to the enterprise for the production of synthetic rubber have been difficult, but in 2009 the team Sterlitamak company "Synthez-Kauchuk" has started commercial production of new environmentally friendly styrene-butadiene rubber. OJSC "Synthez-Kauchuk" is the second company in Russia, which produces the product. Since butadiene rubber opened the way to the European market.

On August 11, 2011 Enterprise Management LLC provides "MC Neftekhim TAU", which involves investments in commercial and image features, makes the current financial management and accounting.

Throughout the period of the production plant for the production of synthetic rubber was strong demand from consumers, indicating a highly trained specialists working in the enterprise, and competent management. Over the years, the plant was headed talented motivated leaders: A.G. Nikitin, V.G. Svistunov, N.Ya. Eremenko, V.I. Ponomarenko, R.H. Rakhimov and others. Enormous contribution to the development stage of the plant “Synthez-Kauchuk” of Sterlitamak introduced his chief mechanic G.I. Rutman, which later became the director of “Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant”. Proud of the collective labor dynasties are Pirnavskih, Guguchkina, Yahshisarovyh, Haykovyh, Potapov, Safronov, Molozinyh, Krupchinovyh, Erushenkovyh and many others.

For contribution to the development of industrial potential of the region and Russia as a whole, the high professionalism in foreign trade joint stock company "Synthez-Kauchuk" repeatedly received nation-wide award laureates and winners of the competition "hundred best goods of Russia and Bashkortostan", "Best rubbers and rubber materials articles thereof" to honor the gold and silver medals at the exhibitions "Tires. RTI. Rubber", became a gold marks" National quality mark the twenty-first century".

Today synthetic rubber supplied to the bus companies and rubber products plants in Nizhnekamsk, Yaroslavl, Omsk, Kirov, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Moscow, Kursk, Tambov, Balakovo, Saransk, Yekaterinburg, Voronezh, Ufa, and many others. Joint Stock Company "Synthez-Kauchuk" has strong partnerships with customers in Russia and the CIS, and also well known abroad - in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, Poland, Hungary, China, India, Indonesia, Korea.
