During the first half of 2019, the management of production processes of Sintez-Kauchuk JSC and Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant underwent serious adjustments, which made it possible to optimize production costs and stabilize the economic situation.

In the first quarter of 2019, the situation on the petrochemical market was unfavorable, which forced to intensify anti-crisis measures to reduce operating costs and production costs. As a result of the efforts of all services, technical personnel, the production activities of the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant and Sintez-Kauchuk joint stock companies were generally characterized as positive by the end of the half year.

In the second quarter of 2019, the production of the main products (compared to the 1st quarter of 2019) amounted to: SKI rubbers - 101%, SKS rubbers - 102.2%, crystalline Agidol-1 - 115.3%, feed Agidol - 137.7 %, 2,6-diTBP - 137.4%, sales of individual items also increased: SKS rubbers - by 15.7%, Agidols as a whole by 22.2%.

The total sales of all types of products of Sintez-Kauchuk JSC and the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant in the first half of the year amounted to 107,167 tons. 58% was exported. The volume of sales of the main types of products - Agidols and rubbers - for export amounted to a total of 57 096 tons. Thus, it became possible starting from September 1, 2019 to increase employees’ wages.

To expand partnership network, work to improve the end-user performance of products was continued. As an example, for the isoprene rubbers: pilot batches of SKI-3 rubber with Agidol-2 antioxidant and the use of Quantislip BM-2R reagent as an anti-agglomerator were produced, production of pilot batches of SKI-5 rubber using a catalytic complex based on a rare-earth catalyst (gadolinium) was continued. This year, after receiving positive homologation results from consumers, 24.75 tons of a new product, IMTHPA 3 grade, capable of being stored in a stable liquid state, were produced. The tests were completed under the supervision of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Research Institute of Civil Aviation and a positive statement was obtained on aviation gasoline of the B-91/115 brand, the production of which this year amounted to 630 tons (199 tons in 2018).
