JSC“Sintez-Kauchuk” was one of the first in the Republic to join the priority regional program “Improving labor productivity and employment support”. The company signed the corresponding agreement in February 2018, when lean production tools were actively introduced in the company"s workshops. “Since 2016, our own lean manufacturing group has done a lot of work on the production site. As a result, to date, all technological workshops have implemented the 5S system. Standard operating procedures have been developed at responsible sites and measures have been implemented to improve product quality”, - commented Dmitry Zhavoronkov, General Director of JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk”. “Due to the introduction of lean production tools, the number of consumer complaints about product quality decreased by 18% in 2018, and decreased from 14 to 3 in 8 months of 2019 (in a comparative analysis). At the pilot project for obtaining synthetic rubber of SKI-3 brand, in the I-5v workshop, there has been work carried out for to reduce the number of unscheduled stops of equipment and reduce foreign inclusions in rubber briquettes, which reduced the number of rejects and processing of substandard products. Now we want to achieve even greater results.” To achieve its ambitious goal, in September 2019 the company moved to the national project “Productivity and Employment Support”. Then it was joined by the repair and construction organization “Khimremont”, which intends to optimize and expand the scope of work performed, including strengthening its position in the construction market and go beyond the borders of the Republic.

Pilot project participants undergo advanced professional training, professional retraining and professional development, including lean production, project management, and digital economy. One of the recent training sessions, which was attended by managers of our enterprises, was devoted to topics: “Decomposition of Objectives” and “Effective Infocentre”. During the training, our colleagues identified and eliminated losses, applied the tools of the production system, learned to identify the root causes of problems and implement countermeasures, found opportunities to reduce production costs.
