The solemn award ceremony for the winners of the contest "Exporter of the Year" of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activity. The enterprises of the petrochemical group "TAU PetroChem" became the winners in the nomination of “Exporter of the Year in the Industry. Big business”: “Sterlitamak petrochemical plant” took the second place, JSC “Sintez-Kauchuk” was on the third place.

The All-Russian competition "Exporter of the Year" is held among large companies, small and medium-sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved the greatest success in exporting non-resource non-energy goods, works, services, as well as the results of intellectual activity. The jury evaluated the contestants according to several criteria: growth rate of the volume of sold export products, the geography of deliveries, as well as international promotion in foreign markets.

29 contestants were suggested for consideration by the competition commission: 9 companies representing large businesses and 20 small and medium-sized businesses.
